Rory Woods spends her days offering psychic readings at her family’s Ye Olde Spirit Shop and nights haunting the streets of Boston as a ghost tour guide. Sure, business at the shop could be better, but she’s proud of her work.
Enter Ezra Blackwell: noted thorn in Rory’s side, the shop’s resident horror history fanatic, and - though she’d only admit it under threat of medieval torture - a handsome, charismatic tour guide. Rory can’t stand Ezra’s know-it-all, showoff behavior. Ezra loves to tease the gorgeous, uptight medium at the shop.
And when the two are forced to run a tour together? It’s no wonder they disturb a matchmaking ghost who places a spell on them. Saddled with perpetual bad luck unless they’re physically near one another, Rory and Ezra will try anything, from séances to kissing, before the jinx wreaks havoc on both their careers. But in their quest to appease the spirit, they realize that growing closer might not be the curse they thought.
